We pride ourselves in being equipped with the top Barber/Stylist in the business specializing in all hair types, offering each client a unique treatment, having vast knowledge of hair and skin products in order to educate clients on maintaining grooming techniques at home. We provide a social ambience for both young and old. We are Family oriented, and provide the convenience of online appointment booking. As the driving force behind the academy's barbering excellence, Johnnie ensures that every client receives exceptional service, attention to detail, and superior results. His commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is reflected in the consistent, top-tier haircuts he delivers.
As an influential leader in the business, Johnnie also plays a key role in the academy’s growth and visibility, serving as the active liaison for the company’s social media marketing campaigns. He is constantly exploring innovative ways to attract new clientele, elevate the Bushcutz Grooming brand, and position the business as the premier barbershop in the area.
In addition to his role as a master barber and business leader, Johnnie is also a licensed Instructor, guiding students through their barbering education at Bushcutz Barber Academy. His dedication to the craft and passion for teaching empower students to achieve their licensure and succeed in their careers, ensuring the next generation of barbers is equipped with the skills, professionalism, and passion for excellence that Bushcutz is known for.

With over a decade of experience in customer service and a solid educational foundation in Business Administration, Melodie Bush is the driving force behind the smooth operations and growth of Bushcutz Grooming & Barber Academy. As the Director of Business Affairs and Student Accounts, she seamlessly blends her strategic vision with practical expertise to ensure that the academy operates at the highest standard.
In her role, Melodie is responsible for overseeing vendor relations, managing key business partnerships, and ensuring the academy remains compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations. Her expertise extends to liaising with the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR), as well as managing business licensing across multiple levels of government. This ensures that Bushcutz Grooming stays up-to-date with the latest licensure requirements and remains a trusted name in the grooming industry.
Beyond compliance, Melodie is committed to positioning Bushcutz Grooming for growth, exploring new opportunities to expand the brand's reach and diversify its services. She is actively engaged in developing strategies for future initiatives that will expand the academy's offerings, including ventures outside of traditional barbering and styling.
